Day Return Privilege The
decision to introduce a new puppy into your home is an important step for you
and your family. While the benefits of pet ownership are many, these are
balanced by new responsibilities that must be assumed by each family member.
Windswept recognizes that even after careful consideration, unforeseen
circumstances my arise that prevent your from fulfilling these obligations. In
consideration of concern for both you an the puppy, if for any reason you find
the puppy to be unsuitable to your situation, you may return the puppy to
Windswept within three days of purchase for a refund. Your
original deposit is not refundable under the Three Day Return Privilege! Limited
Fourteen Day Warranty on Health If,
in the opinion of your veterinarian, your puppy has any physical problem which
makes it a poor health risk, you may within fourteen days of purchase return the
puppy to Windswept for a full refund or credit towards another puppy. To make a
claim under this provision, bring your puppy back to Windswept as quickly as
possible after your veterinarian’s examination. You must also bring a signed
statement from your veterinarian showing the date, within the fourteen-day
period, on which he conducted his examination and the reason why he believes the
puppy to be a poor health risk. This statement must include a description of the
symptoms supporting his opinion. Since
it is your intention to return the puppy for refund or credit, your veterinarian
should not provide any further immunizations or treatment for the puppy. Be
assured that all necessary care will be provided after consultation with our
veterinarian upon the puppy’s return to Windswept. If at any time, during the life of the dog, you can no longer provide a suitable home, please contact Windswept first. We are entrusting the dog to you, and should your circumstances change, we reserve the right to have the dog come back to us or assist you in finding a suitable home. Back
